Laundry & Linen Aide Location: St. Francis Hospital - A Member of Catholic Health Join one of the nation's top-ranked hospitals for Cardiology and GI Surgery. We're looking for a dedicated Laundry & Linen Aide to help keep our hospital safe, clean, and welcoming for all.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders
- Strong communication and reading skills
Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, pack and label all linens by hospital units
- Fold clean linens after washing and drying. Keep on record all discarded linen on a daily basis
- Prepare special wash packages of linen for distribution to off-site campuses
- Assist in uniform exchange and distribution process
- Clean the washing machine and dryers on a daily basis
