About The Position

The Meritage Resort & Spa is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Driver to transport hotel linens and laundry between our hotel and designated laundry facilities. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and background check
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

• Prior driving or delivery experience preferred (hotel or commercial laundry experience a plus)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and related items to and from laundry facilities
• Load and unload laundry carts and bags, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage or loss
• Verify quantities and condition of items during pick-up and delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle
• Follow established routes, schedules, and safety procedures
• Communicate promptly with housekeeping and laundry staff regarding delays, shortages, or issues
• Complete required delivery logs, reports, and documentation
• Comply with all hotel policies, OSHA standards, and California driving regulations
