About The Position

Breezy Point Resort is looking for an energetic person that interacts really well with people that is capable of working independently for the majority of the day. The Laundry Personnel has no supervisory responsibilities, but must be able to work independently if needed. This person will report to Laundry Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager. Summer seasons shifts are 7am-3:330pm and second shift 2pm-10:30pm

Requirements

Basic laundry skills
Must be able to load unload machines
Must be able to sort and fold all linens
Orderliness and efficiency
Interacts well with others
Must be able to do repetitive grasping
Balance stacks of clean linens
Good communication skills

Responsibilities

Sort dirty linens/towels.
Ensure that priority linens are washed and dried first.
Load and unload washers and dryers.
Wash linens for housekeepers and kitchen /dining room staff.
Fold all dry linen/towels and place on appropriate shelves.
Maintain a list of areas that are in need of linens.
Maintain cleanliness of laundry area and laundry restroom.
Ensure “Owners” linens are returned to housekeeping for delivery to Owner’s rooms.
Keep Laundry Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matter of significance.
