Requirements

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper, or in a similar role is preferred.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to consistently lift 20–35 pounds or more, and stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and laundry products.
• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is typically required.
• Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and good organizational/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Linen Processing: Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, towels, and blankets following manufacturer instructions and hotel standards.
• Stain Treatment: Inspecting all linens for stains and treating them using appropriate commercial cleaning products.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operating washers and dryers safely, cleaning lint traps, and reporting maintenance needs to management.
• Inventory Control: Monitoring inventory of laundry cleaning supplies and notifying management when supplies are running low.
• Housekeeping Support: Keeping the laundry room, linen closets, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Guest Interaction: Maintaining a friendly, professional, and helpful demeanor when interacting with guests.
