Requirements
- Must have ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members, guests, and outside contacts
- Must have ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must have ability to move around all work areas effectively and efficiently
- Must have ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Required to stand for an extended time
- Attendants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. of laundry and push heavy carts without assistance.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel and crouch.
- Able to read and write and understand the English language.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily washing and drying of hotel and banquet linens
- Ironing and steaming of items may be required
- Responsible for neatly fold laundry and distribute it according to company requirements
- Conduct general maintenance and upkeep of the machines, which includes cleaning machine filters
- Maintain safe working area by sweeping and mopping floors periodically
- Coordinate duties with other hotel staff
- Attend required training sessions offered by the casino
- Obtain required licenses
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations
- Responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco
- Adhere to Internal Control Procedures and Policies
- Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management
