Summary: The Laundry Attendant ensures a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel by performing all stages of linen processing. This includes collecting, transporting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, storing, and delivering linens while maintaining a clean and organized laundry area.
Responsibilities
- Collect, transport, sort, and weigh dirty linens, towels, and rags.
- Operate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures.
- Clean dryer filters daily and maintain laundry equipment.
- Iron linens as per standard and ensure equipment is turned off after use.
- Fold, store, and deliver clean linens to designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry work area.
- Comply with company standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Be friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow employees.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation.
