About The Position

Sorts, washes, dries, folds, and distributes hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items according to procedures and standards Operates commercial washers, dryers, and related laundry equipment safely and efficiently Inspects linens for stains, damage, or wear and removes unusable items from circulation Applies appropriate stain treatments and washing formulas to ensure cleanliness and quality Maintains organized storage of clean linens and supplies in the laundry area Delivers clean linen to housekeeping storage areas and collects soiled linen from designated locations Monitors laundry supply levels and reports equipment issues or maintenance needs to supervisor Maintains cleanliness and safety of the laundry room, equipment, and work areas Follows all safety procedures and hotel standards Assists housekeeping team as needed during high-volume periods

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing and math skills are preferred
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy loads and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
