About The Position

PART-TIME WEEKENDS Laundry / Housekeeping Aide Position Overview Looking for a steady weekend role where you can stay active and make a meaningful difference? As a Laundry / Housekeeping Aide, you help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. Your work directly supports their comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This is a hands-on position that keeps you moving and working as part of a supportive team.

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma required
• One year of experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand laundry and housekeeping procedures
• Basic math skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to ask for assistance when needed
• Ability to work independently while also being a dependable team member

Responsibilities

• Ensure a consistent supply of clean linens for resident care and comfort
• Inspect linens and remove any items that are stained or in disrepair
• Collect resident laundry daily or as needed
• Label new residents’ clothing items when necessary
• Sort, treat, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms in a timely manner
• Follow all sanitation and infection control procedures
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies
• Safely operate industrial washers, dryers, and related equipment
• Report any equipment concerns to the Administrator
