Requirements

  • Part Time Hours Schedule: 3:30p-7:30p
  • Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

  • Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and facility linens according to established procedures
  • Properly handle resident clothing and personal items , ensuring items are labeled and returned accurately
  • Use laundry chemicals and equipment safely and correctly following facility and manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment
  • Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
  • Deliver clean linens and clothing to nursing units in a timely manner
  • Report damaged linens, missing items, or equipment issues to the supervisor
  • Work cooperatively with nursing and environmental services teams to support resident care
  • Treat residents’ belongings with care, respect, and confidentiality
