Requirements

Part Time Hours Schedule: 3:30p-7:30p
Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and facility linens according to established procedures
Properly handle resident clothing and personal items , ensuring items are labeled and returned accurately
Use laundry chemicals and equipment safely and correctly following facility and manufacturer guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment
Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
Deliver clean linens and clothing to nursing units in a timely manner
Report damaged linens, missing items, or equipment issues to the supervisor
Work cooperatively with nursing and environmental services teams to support resident care
Treat residents’ belongings with care, respect, and confidentiality
