About The Position

Ensure Comfort and Cleanliness for Our Residents at Pomeroy Living! Pomeroy Living is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our dedicated team. You will play a crucial role in providing a clean, comfortable, and homelike environment for our residents by ensuring their personal laundry and facility linens are handled with care.

Requirements

• Demonstrate honesty and integrity in the care and use of resident and facility property.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with staff and residents.
• Ability to lift and carry light objects up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Laundry Operations: Wash resident clothing and facility linens according to established company policies and procedures.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry items efficiently and accurately.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any malfunctions.
• Quality & Care: Handle resident clothing and linens with care, maintaining their quality and appearance.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Efficiency & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
• Adhere to department procedures and cleaning schedules.
• Ensure linens are cleaned to department procedures and cleaning schedule.
