About The Position
The Laundry Aide is responsible for providing support to the laundry department by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and clothing. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the facility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred
Responsibilities
- Sort and separate soiled linens and clothing
- Operate washing machines and dryers
- Fold and organize clean linens and clothing
- Distribute clean linens and clothing to designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols
