LAUNCH is Albemarle's rotational program for recent graduates designed to accelerate professional experience and propel participants towards future success. Through this program, you will: Develop your professional skills while completing assignments across multiple business units and/or functional areas Immerse yourself in domestic and international business experiences Engage with professional mentors and leaders at Albemarle Grow your career potential through broad exposure and access to knowledge across the enterprise As part of the LAUNCH Program, participants will commit to two assignments over two years emphasizing the following: Application of real-time problem solving skills Collaboration opportunities with other industry professionals Adaptation to new and challenging environments Exposure to Albemarle's culture and core values The LAUNCH Associate position on the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team will help support the team’s operational effectiveness by supporting processes and advancing a set of improvement initiatives. The Albemarle S&OP team owns/leads the planning process, partnering closely with the Business/Product Managers, Sales, Finance and Manufacturing teams to ensure we are executing strongly to optimal outcomes. This includes tasks such as demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, scenario planning, consensus meetings, as well as continuous improvement efforts on our process/tools.

Requirements

  • Anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA requirement of 3.0
  • Bachelors degree in Business (Finance), Engineering or Supply Chain related field
  • Proven ability to manage multiple time sensitive projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with multiple levels of key stakeholders
  • Excellent data analysis skills and ability to develop visualizations
  • Extensive knowledge with Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and other advanced analytical tools

  • Current or previous internship or co-op experience
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry

Responsibilities

  • Project management – scoping, planning, and executing real projects with measurable outcomes.
  • Facilitation and collaboration – working with a cross-functional team, leading prioritization exercises, and engaging stakeholders to drive decisions.
  • Communication – providing updates and storytelling around results and impact.
  • Organizational change – understanding how improvement ideas move from concept to execution in a corporate setting.
  • Reporting/Analysis support – determining how to best collect/display information to meet requirements of key stakeholders.
