About The Position

The LASIK Surgical Concierge plays a key role in the development, implementation, and management of the LASIK and refractive surgery service line. Duties include consultation, patient education, pre-operative and post-operative care, and maintain patient records. This includes assisting with internal and external marketing strategies, staff training, patient education, and establishing a referral network. The LASIK Concierge serves as the main liaison between MDs, management, staff, and referring physicians, ensuring clear communication and efficient coordination of surgical activities. The LASIK Concierge will ensure that all patients are educated and prepared for their consultation, procedure, and receive comprehensive care during their recovery. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One of more years of experience in a healthcare setting required
  • Superior communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to motivate and influence others
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Courteous and efficient telephone handling skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and image.

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years of sales experience preferred
  • One to two years of ophthalmic/optometric experience preferred
