About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating laser cutting equipment, performing basic maintenance, and ensuring precision in metal fabrication. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Prior experience operating laser cutting machinery.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting measurements using calipers and tape measures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift as required by the job.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with metal fabrication or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with CNC laser systems or similar industrial machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser cutting machines efficiently and accurately.
• Adjust laser settings as needed to ensure high-quality cuts based on material and job specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures to inspect and verify dimensions.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the laser equipment and surrounding work area.
• Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Communicate any machine issues or material inconsistencies to the supervisor promptly.
