About The Position

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Must abide by all Comfort Bilt policies and procedures. 2. Follows and promotes on the job safety expectations. (eyes, ears and L.O.T.O.) 3. Acts as lead person for Maintenance Level II and III personnel. 4. Maintains proper housekeeping expectations. 5. Must be courteous and maintain a good working relationship with supervisors and co-workers. 6. Train operators on the proper use of equipment 7. Provides a systematic approach to trouble shoot and repair dies, fixtures, electrical and mechanical production equipment. 8. Makes preventative maintenance checks and inspections as required and on time. 9. Assures that proper documentation is filled out and spare parts are accurately maintained and identified to provide rapid response to problems. 10. Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime. 11. Modify equipment as necessary to improve safety, quality, productivity and reliability. 12. Perform tasks in a quality fashion by meeting or exceeding the internal customers’ requirements. 13. Ability to perform welding and metal fabrication duties. 14. Tries out equipment after repair and leaves it and the area in a clean safe condition. 15. Ability to utilize a personal computer (PC) based maintenance management system. 16. Ability to plan, layout and construct basic production equipment or combine processes. 17. Read and understand essential ladder logic diagrams. 18. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of trade school with three years of related experience.
  • Job experience will be considered in lieu of education requirements.
