Local Title: Large Mixer Operator Status : Hourly Manager Title: Production Manager Location: Mebane Job Summary : Position rotates between multiple jobs, which are responsible for loading the conveyor leading to the mixer with hand-added compounds according to recipe specifications, and mixing rubber batches for Mixers .

Requirements

• Prefer high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 y ears of experience in manufacturing environment
• Must be able to read, write and do basic math
• Must understand work instructions, customer specifications, and MSDS information using the English language
• Ability to excel in a cross-cultural, global team environment
• Possesses professional written and verbal communication skills
• Can work independently and multi-task in faced paced environment
• Basic computer skills to enter data

Responsibilities

• Operate mixers based on Advise System
• Operate the mixer in manual
• Perform changeovers with minimal downtime
• Demonstrate how to reset system
• Weigh manual charges
• Demonstrate knowledge of mixing compound
• Verify knowledge of chemicals
• Cuts rubber according to recipe specifications
• Loading weighed totes of raw materials onto Conveyor i n Proper Sequence
• Loads specialty compound bins with proper raw materials
• Request, retrieve and receive appropriate raw materials
• Demonstrate proper clean out procedures
• Sustain 5S activities and audits
• Demonstrate safe and proper use of fork lift and hand truck
• Abide by relevant safety rules
• Verify proper use of elevator
