About The Position

QuietRock®, the first and most technically advanced sound damped wallboard, was developed in 2003. In August of 2013 QuietRock® and its complete line of accessories products became part of the PABCO® Gypsum family. PABCO® Gypsum is one of the leading manufacturers of wallboard in the United States and has provided quality products and service since 1972. Mixer Operator QuietRock® , the first and most technically advanced sound damped wallboard, was developed in 2003. PABCO® Gypsum is one of the leading manufacturers of wallboard in the United States and has provided quality products and service since 1972. We are currently accepting resumes for a Mixer Operator in Newark, CA for QuietRock. This position is responsible for manufacturing adhesive products by accuraately following formulas, mixing raw materials, and operating production equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Lift and/or move 60 pounds and more
• Regular attendance is required
• Ability to work with various chemicals
• Ability to accurately follow a formula for mixing

Responsibilities

• Manufactures batches of glue and glue products.
• Utilizes different raw materials to make the product lines.
• Operates different types of mixing machinery.
• Measures and weighs different raw materials to make the finished product.
• Accurately follows the set formulas and records material usage.
• Operates a forklift.
• Performs the daily forklift inspection checklist.
• Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.
