This is a physically demanding position that requires excellent horse handling skills and experience, and the candidate must not have any medical conditions or implants which would preclude entry into the high-field MRI suite. This is a full-time, benefited position and is considered essential personnel. This position requires a post offer health assessment. Background check will be required. Requirements

Candidate must not have any medical conditions or implants which would preclude entry into the high-field MRI suite
Vet Tech Level 1: High School Diploma; two (2) years of work experience loading, unloading, restraining, handling and treating horses or one (1) years of work experience loading, unloading, restraining, handling and treating horses in a veterinary academic teaching hospital.
Vet Tech Level 2: High School Diploma; four (4) years of work experience loading, unloading, restraining, handling and treating horses or two (2) years of work experience loading, unloading, restraining, handling and treating horses in a veterinary academic teaching hospital.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, bend, kneel, pull, push, twist and stand for an extended period of time.

Nice To Haves

Certification/licensure as a Veterinary Technician is preferred, but NOT required for Vet Tech Level 1
Certification/licensure as a Veterinary Technician IS required for Vet Tech Level 2
