Built on teamwork, accountability, and respect, we’re looking for people who want steady, hands-on work and the opportunity to grow with a company that invests in its people and serves its communities year-round.   Job Overview The Landscaping Division Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all operations related to landscape maintenance and winter services across two branch locations: Delaware, OH and Findlay, OH. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality services that meet customer expectations while maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards. The manager will lead a team of field staff and foremen, coordinating schedules, resources, and equipment to optimize service delivery throughout the year. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in driving commercial business growth and maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence in both landscape and winter service offerings.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial landscaping or winter services, ideally in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Proven experience in customer service and quality control within a service-oriented environment.
  • Licenses: Valid driver’s license required; Must meet insurability standards. The ability to tow trailers or transport equipment and travel regularly between Delaware and Findlay locations.
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to pass a drug test as part of a drug-free workplace policy.
  • Phone: Must have cell phones clock in and out daily, log jobs, and follow other company communications.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management, Horticulture, Landscape Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily landscaping operations at both Delaware and Findlay locations, ensuring projects and maintenance contracts are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, supervise, and support multiple landscape crews and foremen; assign work, set expectations, and promote accountability and teamwork across both plants.
  • Scheduling & Resource Planning: Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials between locations to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Estimating: Prepare and review estimates for landscape maintenance and installation projects, labor planning, material costing, and pricing. Collaborate with operations and sales leadership to ensure accurate, competitive, and profitable bids.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all landscape installation and maintenance work meet company standards, contract specifications, and customer expectations.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA and company safety policies, conduct jobsite inspections, and promote a strong safety culture across all crews.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Assist with labor planning, equipment utilization, and material usage to support profitability and cost control.
  • Winter Services: Manage snow and ice management for Findlay location.
