About The Position

Summary/objective This is a year-round position with full-time work including landscaping, snow removal and general property maintenance tasks. You will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks in support of the upkeep of clients’ property and its surroundings. As part of our team, you are responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, and parking lots. You should possess a well-rounded knowledge of landscaping and/or building maintenance and enjoy working in an environment where every job is a little bit different. Works with the office staff to achieve the highest level of customer service, and perform other general duties concerning the clients’ property as directed. Essential Functions Perform property work including but not limited to cutting grass, weed trimming, cleaning up around the property, snow removal and trash removal from common areas and apartments, and helping team members as needed. Work involves a large amount of time working outside in the weather and at a number of different locations Ensure completion of work orders according to scheduling demands and work requested Cleans and prepares specific areas of the job site as assigned. This may include cleaning up rubble, debris, and trash; or removing materials. Operates a wide variety of landscaping tools and equipment including push mowers, weed trimmers, leaf blowers and various hand and power tools. Cleans job site at the end of the day, ensuring trash is properly disposed of and materials or equipment are properly stored. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times/100 pounds team lifts occasionally. Must be able to carry tools and equipment up and down stairs. Must be able to climb ladders and balance on scaffolding Must be able to traverse a variety of properties in a variety of weather. Travel required Driving a vehicle and trailer to and from various properties daily. Required education and experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license along with a dependable vehicle and clean driving record Experience with Smartphones and applications Ability to follow directions and propensity to learn Must have your own tools for the job (basic hand tools required) Must be able to use a wide variety of landscaping tools and equipment including push mowers, weed trimmers, leaf blowers and various hand and power tools Must be able to communicate effectively in English for business purposes Preferred education and experience At least two years of related experience is preferred. Requirements
