About The Position
Homestead Gardens is seeking experienced professionals for its Landscape Division, including Landscape Designers, Landscape Sales Representatives, Account Managers, and Operations/Department Managers. This is an opportunity to join a growing organization known for delivering high-quality outdoor spaces and exceptional customer experiences for individuals with a background in landscape design, client management, or operations leadership.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in landscape design, sales, account management, or operations leadership
- Strong knowledge of plants, materials, and landscape construction practices
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and/or lead teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license required
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in landscape design software (e.g., CAD, SketchUp, or similar) preferred for design roles
Responsibilities
- Create landscape designs, layouts, and planting plans (2D/3D as applicable)
- Develop design concepts, material selections, and project budgets
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure design intent is executed accurately
- Revise plans based on client feedback and site conditions
- Build and manage relationships with residential and commercial clients
- Conduct site visits and develop landscape proposals and estimates
- Drive new business and revenue growth through prospecting and referrals
- Manage pipeline, follow-ups, and closing of sales opportunities
- Oversee landscape operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability
- Lead and develop teams through scheduling, coaching, and performance management
- Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless project execution
- Monitor budgets, labor planning, and operational KPIs
- Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction and service deliver
