About The Position

Hazeltine Nurseries is seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Project Manager to oversee large-scale residential landscape construction projects from initial estimation through final completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships and a safe, productive work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong understanding of landscape construction practices and project management principles.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience in landscape construction, site development, or related construction environments
  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction processes, materials, and best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Aspire, scheduling software, and project management tools is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to clients, crews, and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Professional, dependable, and driven to grow within the landscape industry

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Construction, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage multiple large-scale residential landscape construction projects from estimation through completion
  • Ensure client satisfaction, financial performance, schedule adherence, and quality standards are consistently met
  • Implement and enforce job-site safety programs to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
  • Perform field layout and coordinate daily activities with subcontractors and field crews
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine efficient construction methods
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, labor allocation, and subcontractor scheduling
  • Utilize creative problem-solving and construction methods to achieve desired project outcomes
  • Oversee financial aspects of projects, including estimating, buyouts, cost tracking, and profitability
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships; proactively address questions, concerns, and project updates
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to crew members and field staff
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and communication
