About The Position

LPA is seeking a Landscape Architecture Project Manager to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and master planners. In this role, you will collaborate with our Landscape Architecture team on a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from office, education, and recreation facilities to complex laboratories, healthcare environments, and performing arts centers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • 8+ years of experience in all phases of architectural projects.
  • Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) licensure.
  • Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills: focused, articulate and motivated.
  • Knowledge in management of project business: scope, fee, schedule, work plans and budgets.
  • Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment.
  • Ability to inspire collaboration between client and projects teams as the single point of contact.

Responsibilities

  • Guide projects from inception through completion, overseeing the preparation, monitoring, and control of budgets, schedules, and work plans across all project phases.
  • Lead and collaborate with project teams and partner disciplines to develop innovative, high-quality design solutions that support and elevate the LPA brand.
  • Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with clients, contractors, governing authorities, stakeholders, and internal team members.
  • Ensure design solutions align with client-specific standards and requirements—including design guidelines, educational specifications, and development standards—and are effectively implemented.
  • Identify, prepare, and manage additional services when appropriate, proactively mitigating uncompensated scope.
  • Review and oversee contractual, financial, and construction administration documentation.
  • Sign and seal all project-related documents prepared under the supervision and direction of the Managing Director, in accordance with professional licensure requirements.
  • Coordinate with fellow Project Managers to strategically plan and execute overlapping project milestones and resource needs.
  • Inspire, mentor, and develop team members through coaching, training, and skill development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
