The Landscape Manager has the responsibility to execute and deliver a comprehensive landscape maintenance program for Citizens. This role will provide coordination and direction to a team of landscape technicians and external vendors and will assist in providing grounds keeping and building maintenance, along with maintaining equipment and tools. Primary responsibilities include Lead day-to-day grounds keeping operations of multiple retail banking and main office facilities. Responsible for developing and managing site(s) budgets. Host a daily safety standup to review the day’s activities and discuss safety related topics. Complete assigned inspection activities for parking lots, roofs, and other areas as needed. Lead service provider(s) and coordinate and drive vendor activities to ensure consistency across portfolio. Assess work completed by colleagues and external vendors against safety and performance standards and work with other stakeholders to handle necessary corrective actions. Workforce management tasks include hiring and approving time sheets, completing performance reviews. Perform routine site inspections to review on-going maintenance activities, develop corrective action plans and recommend capital planning opportunities from deficiencies noted. Coordinate access to local dumps; mulch/river rock delivery; contract pricing. Assist in landscaping when needed to expedite work orders or cover for colleagues on PTO. Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping. Install new hardscaping, river rock, fencing, signage, and other furnishings as required. Pressure wash building exterior and refresh parking lot painting as needed. Clean gutters and roof drains of debris. Refer work to vendors, if necessary, via work order system. Recommend specific plants, trees, grass, or other landscape features dependent on local site conditions and established Citizens standards. Schedule and assist in spring and fall cleanups to remove excess debris, leaves, and trim landscaping. Coordinate with Property Facility Manager for off-season. Maintain inventory of supplies, tools and materials and purchasing supplies at the best available price. Ensure all tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained and utilized in a safe manner consistent with established standards. Close out work orders upon completion via iPad or Computerized Maintenance Management System. Respond to emergency and non-emergency service requests and prioritize work order response. Communicate in a pleasant and professional manner with internal and external customers.
