About The Position
Plants and tends flowerbeds. Prunes shrubs and trees to enhance growth and appearance. Rakes and removes fallen leaves. Keeps lagoon clean, and drainage ditches and culverts free of obstructions.
Requirements
- Capable of full range body movement.
- Lift items weighing up to 50-75 pounds on a regular basis.
- Read, understand and communicate in English.
- Read instructions and dilution for application of all herbicides and pesticides used at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
Nice To Haves
- Prior landscape maintenance experience.
- Must attach resume and current semester class schedule (weekly view).
- Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations
- Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks
