Your Role at Baxter This is where we make life-saving products Under direction of supervisor, maintain and repair sterilizer truck assets and truck identification system. Requirements

  • High School or equivalent, 4yrs Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance experience or 4 yrs Military Maintenance and Repair experience.
  • Verifiable welding experience/education is required.
  • MUST PERFORM HANDS ON WELDING TEST
  • Must perform TIG welding on stainless and aluminum components.
  • The welding test and interview must be satisfactorily completed prior to the job being awarded.
  • Perform all task required to repair or modify the Sterilizer truck fleet.
  • Must follow all safety and GMP requirements.
  • Welder, plasma cuter, grinder, hand tools, power drills, presses, clamps.
  • Perform setup and prep repairs.
  • Perform basic measurements and math.
  • PIT daily checks, truck modification form.
  • Gloves, safety glasses and welding helmets, ear protection.

Responsibilities

  • Transporting trucks/components to and from the repair shop using work saver or forklift.
  • Identify damage and accurate repair method.
  • Complete repair using correct hand tools, power tools, plasma cutter, or welder.
  • Verify repair aligns with SOP requirements, referencing the appropriate drawing when required.
  • Inspect repair for burrs or sharp edges and fix as needed.
  • Support truck related projects and insure accurate documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and perform simple repair on area equipment.
  • General cleaning of equipment and area.
