Serve as the onsite leader for a commercial landscape maintenance crew servicing location across SE Michigan. Requirements

• 5 years’ experience in commercial landscape industry
• 3 years of professional landscape maintenance experience
• 1-2 years supervisory experience and leadership skills
• Have a chauffeur's license or the ability to get one
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
• Pass driver's background check

Responsibilities

• Managing the crew: Assigning tasks, providing training, and mentoring crew members.
• Ensuring quality: Overseeing the work to ensure it meets standards and meets customer expectations.
• Managing resources: Making sure the crew has the tools and materials they need, and keeping track of materials and time
• Maintaining the job site: Keeping the job site clean and the equipment trailer organized.
• Operating equipment: Using standard landscaping maintenance equipment and operate company trucks/trailers safely.
• Communicating: Keeping management updated on jobs conditions and providing feedback on employee performance.
• Completing documentation: Complete any necessary documentation.
