Landscape Growth Manager

Rubicon ProgramsRichmond, CA
10d$115,000 - $125,000

About The Position

Rubicon Landscape is more than a landscaping company — we’re a mission-driven division of Rubicon Programs, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming East Bay communities. For more than 30 years, Rubicon Landscape has delivered high-quality landscape maintenance, enhancement, and installation services for federal, municipal, and commercial clients throughout the Bay Area. Every dollar of net income generated by our work is reinvested into Rubicon Programs’ life-changing services, including job training, workforce reentry, financial education, and behavioral health support. The Landscape Growth Manager is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth for Rubicon Landscape through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. This role owns the sales pipeline end-to-end—from opportunity identification and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and close—while partnering closely with operations and finance to ensure successful project execution and long-term client satisfaction. This is an outward-facing, leadership role for a seasoned landscape professional with deep industry experience spanning estimating, project delivery, and business development. While strong technical knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation is essential, revenue growth is the primary mandate and measure of success for this position. The Growth & Revenue Manager plays a critical role in positioning Rubicon Landscape competitively in the market by articulating a clear, mission-aligned value proposition and building trusted relationships across public, commercial, and institutional clients. The role balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is expected to spend approximately 60–70% of time focused on business development, revenue growth, and marketing visibility, with 30–40% supporting estimating, preconstruction, and delivery coordination to ensure pursuits translate into profitable, well-executed work. This position operates in a mission-driven social enterprise environment, combining commercial performance with community impact, and contributes directly to Rubicon’s ability to reinvest revenue into workforce development and transformative programs across the East Bay. This is an exempt position and reports to the Vice President of Landscape.
