About The Position

The landscape facility manager role within Real Estate Operations has the responsibility for landscape planning and design as well as managing a staff of landscape technicians. The primary focus of this role will be to coordinate the landscaping tasks of a team of landscaper technicians. In this role you will respond to colleague and business requested work orders and have a routine schedule of work orders to complete.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience managing multiple employees
  • 4 or more years of experience in commercial landscape maintenance
  • Experience driving larger vehicles such as box trucks & pickup trucks with trailers
  • Proven customer service experience and/or abilities
  • Competent use of MS Office applications to include MS Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload
  • Ability to work outside in all types of weather to complete jobs safely
  • Proven track record to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks to assure successful timely completion of all
  • Comfortable working at heights (ladders, roof top, etc)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Drivers License, required

Responsibilities

  • Plan landscaping design across a portfolio of bank properties
  • Perform inspections of properties to determine action steps
  • Hiring and managing staff of landscaping technicians
  • Coordinate training of staff
  • Work order monitoring
  • Coordinate activities of vendors as necessary
  • Budget planning and oversight
  • Purchase and plan delivery of mulch, river rock, plants, etc
  • Perform groundskeeping and building maintenance duties as needed to cover PTO and help with workload
  • Landscape by planting, trimming, and maintaining flowers, grass, shrubs, bushes, and small trees.
  • Perform spring and fall cleanups to remove excess debris, leaves, and trim landscaping
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance for equipment utilized in groundskeeping
  • Install new hardscaping, river rock, fencing, signage, and other furnishings as required
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency service requests and prioritize work order response
  • Closing out work orders upon completion; via iPad or Computerized Maintenance Management System
  • Communicate in a pleasant and professional manner with internal and external customers
  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained and utilized in a safe manner consistent with established standards
