Landscape Crew Leader in Training
About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and experienced landscaper for our Crew Leader in Training position where you will learn how to oversee daily field operations while actively participating in landscape maintenance and installation tasks. This is a working supervisory role responsible for ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards. We are willing to train the right person! This position offers consistent weekday hours and competitive pay based on experience. We are looking for a motivated individual who takes pride in their work and can effectively lead a team in delivering high-quality landscape services. Requirements
- 1–3 years of landscaping experience required
- NC or SC driver's license with a good driving record
- Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example
- Ability to follow directions and delegate tasks effectively
- Knowledge of landscaping equipment and safety procedures
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds repetitively
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and walking for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership or crew lead experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Train to direct and support crew members in completing tasks assigned by the Foreman and Manager
- Supervise daily workflow to ensure productivity and quality standards are met
- Perform hands-on landscaping duties, including: Mowing
- Mulching
- Sod installation
- Planting
- Irrigation work
- Spraying applications as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized job site
- Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and materials
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and needs
