About The Position

This is a production role in Landscape Construction and work is performed in the
field most of the time.  The primary functions of this position are
installations, planting, seeding, soil preparation, erosion control, operation
of Hydro-seeder and other specialized equipment.  This position may have a
reduction in hours certain times of the year (winter).  During this time the
primary function will change to support business needs.

Requirements

• Strong verbal communication skills with peers and teammates
• Able to follow direction as given by foreman
• Proficient using basic, in-field tools and installation methods
• Available to work outside regular business hours as needs dictate
• Consistently adhere to established quality standards and safety standards
• Availability required during winter snow removal events

Responsibilities

• Installation of planting, seeding, soil preparation, erosion control installation, and hardscape materials
• Accurately record hours worked on a daily basis, as expected
• Demonstrates competency in operating basic landscape hand tools or power tools
• Meet deadlines and expectations expressed by manager or foreman
• Effectively communicate with manager, foreman and crew
• Other duties assigned
