Your Opportunity Stantec's Texas studio is seeking a creative and driven Landscape Architect to join our Community Development Team-a collaborative group where landscape architecture and urban design come together to shape vibrant, resilient places. As part of a global, multidisciplinary firm, you'll benefit from shared resources, diverse perspectives, and a culture of design excellence. You'll work on a variety of projects-from parks and trails to campuses, recreation facilities, and mixed-use developments-collaborating with planners, engineers, and fellow landscape architects in a fast-paced, creative studio where ideas and teamwork drive great design.

Requirements

  • Strong design sensibility and technical proficiency
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office
  • A collaborative mindset and a desire to grow within a supportive team
  • A degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA or MLA) from an accredited program
  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Licensed in Texas or actively pursuing licensure within the next 2-3 years

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Lumion, Rhino, V-Ray, or Grasshopper is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop concept designs and translate them into detailed construction documents
  • Prepare layout, planting, irrigation, grading plans, and design details
  • Create compelling graphics, renderings, and presentations
  • Work closely with planners, engineers, and fellow landscape architects
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and proposal development
  • Support construction administration and site visits
