Land Intern
About The Position
Overview Lewis Energy Group encourages student development and provides interns with real work experience applicable to their degree. Throughout the internship, the student will be exposed to all facets of the in-house land function (negotiations, lease records, division order, surface land, etc.) and will work directly and engage with each function to gain an all encompassing overview. Students are provided with feedback of their performance at the conclusion of their internship. The program also offers industry related presentations and field trips conducted by our technical professionals designed to present the students with hands on experience and knowledge related to the gas and oil industry.
Requirements
- Basic Requirements: Pursuing a degree in an accredited institution.
- Must have completed sophomore year status and in good academic standing.
- Other: Demonstrated good communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated computer skills are also required.
Responsibilities
- The Intern will perform project related work for the in-house land department.
- The intern will have an opportunity to interact with personnel and provide real solutions to situations involved.
