About The Position

As a Land Development Coordinator, you will play a critical support role within our Grand Communities team, partnering closely with the President, Operations Manager, and Land Development team. You will help keep projects moving forward by maintaining schedules, coordinating documentation, and supporting the land development process from early planning through project completion. The most rewarding part of this role is being at the center of the development process, helping bring communities to life through organization, communication, and attention to detail. You will thrive in this role if you: Highly organized and enjoy managing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Take initiative and proactively identify ways to improve processes and keep work moving forward. Communicate clearly and effectively with both internal teams and external partners. Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations-focused role.
  • Familiarity with project management systems or document management tools.
  • Experience working in land development, construction, or real estate environments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain development schedules, ensuring timely updates and communication across teams.
  • Support the plat recording process, including preparing and processing subdivision plats, easements, and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with legal teams, engineers, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects progress on schedule.
  • Manage project files and documentation across systems such as Sapphire and Construction Online.
  • Track and maintain key data, including lot costs, parcel IDs, property taxes, and construction bonds.
  • Conduct audits of project documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper storage.
  • Prepare reports, meeting materials, and investor packets; coordinate and document joint venture meetings.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Land Development Construction team.
