Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Land Acquisition Agent. The Land Acquisition Agent reports to the Project Supervisor. The primary job duties of this position include: Research ownership, title history, and encumbrances of properties identified for acquisition. Coordinates and negotiates with property owners, tenants, and legal representatives for the purchase of fee simple, easement, or use of private property. Orders and reviews appraisals and prepare acquisition offers in accordance with fair market value. Prepares or reviews legal instruments such as easements, deeds, and rights-of-entry. Works with legal staff on eminent domain proceedings when needed. Coordinates with engineering, planning, and construction teams to align property needs with project requirements. This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Exempt - ineligible for overtime compensation. This position has been designated as a Sedentary work position, spending most of the workday in an outdoor & office environment.
