About The Position

Temp To Full-Time Production Management · Lead daily stand-ups · Track metrics on MDI board, identify corrective actions, assign owners and deadlines, ensure timely completion · Ensure that lamination, bagging, demold, and PTFE production outputs meet targets · Ensure that parts flow promptly in groups of complete ship sets · Manage PTFE picking to jobs · Perform regular WIP counts - identify if remakes are required and quantities · Ensure effective shift handoffs · Monitor jobbing performance to ensure employees properly clock time and counts · Make adjustments to jobs when errors occur · Participate in production work as needed based on demand · Identify and resolve production roadblocks Team Leadership · Assign flow cell tasks and monitor individual efficiency · Provide coaching and training as needed, including new hires · Conduct employee reviews (30/60/90 day and annual, with assistance from leadership) · Ensure effective communication between team and leadership · Address behavioral or performance issues with employees (with assistance from Value Stream Leader or Shift Manager) Quality & Compliance · Ensure strict SOP and WI compliance, perform spot checks on production activities · Ensure work in process is meeting quality standards and expectations · MRB’s o Create NC’s for non-conformances in Unipoint o Attend daily MRB meeting or review MRB results (if on second shift) o Identify, investigate, and correct any non-conformances o Sign-off on NC dispositions in Unipoint Additional Duties · Champion for safety and safe work practices · Create, maintain, and improve upon 5S standards · Lead continuous improvement initiatives · Ensure proper documentation of all processes · Enforce strict adherence to attendance policy for self and team · Provide detailed and timely communications to leadership, engineering, quality, or other production teams, as required
