About The Position

Position Overview The machine operator level 4M (Lamination) is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the dough lamination equipment used in the production of crackers. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product consistency, dough sheet quality, and adherence to production schedules. The technician will support the continuous flow of the lamination process, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and sanitation standards. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Essential Functions The following duties are considered essential functions of the role. Set up, operate, and adjust lamination equipment to meet production specifications and dough characteristics. Monitor dough sheet thickness, layer consistency, and line speeds to ensure high-quality product output. Inspect dough texture, moisture content, and visual appearance throughout the lamination process. Collaborate with the mixing and forming teams to maintain proper dough flow and product quality. Perform routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Quickly identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, making necessary adjustments or escalating to maintenance when needed. Document operational parameters and report deviations from quality or process standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and food safety regulations. Assist in changeovers and line startups/shutdowns as needed. Participate in continuous improvement activities and contribute to team-based problem-solving efforts. Provide support in the development of new products during the lamination and oven processes. Will train operators in machine operation, quality standards, and safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, temperature variations, dust, chemicals, and common food allergens. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 1–3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in dough processing or lamination.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.
