Here, mothers and babies start their journey with expert nurses at their side and the finest resources at their command. The Lactation Specialist plays a vital role in this journey, providing direct, effective, and comprehensive nursing care to patients and their significant others. This role also facilitates professional nursing practice through clinical expertise and teaching, acting as a preceptor for new staff and students. The Lactation Specialist will educate staff and patients, and support quality assurance and improvement initiatives. This is a Part -time day shift position at New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Campus. Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, two days per week. Flexible start and end times but 7am-500pm or 8:00am to 6:00pm .
