Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) PD
About The Position
The Lactation Consultant assists and assess patients with breastfeeding while making daily rounds. Will evaluate patients who have problems breastfeeding and develop feeding schedule/plan with the pediatrician, bedside nurse and mother. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field required
- International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) required
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- One year working in acute care setting with breastfeeding mothers
Nice To Haves
- Registered Nurse (RN) preferred
- Baby Friendly facility preferred
