Requirements

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Varying shift rotation working 10 to 12 hours per day
Overtime rates apply after 40 hours worked per week
Site based position with the opportunity for long term employment
Living out allowance provided for every day worked

Nice To Haves

Previous mining experience is preferred but not required
Awareness and understanding of mining safety and MSHA policies (preferred not required)
Current MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred (training will be provided if needed)

Responsibilities

Support mining operations by performing various tasks on the labor crew
Complete production reporting and other required documentation
Communicate effectively and professionally with team members
Lead both safety and production efforts by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
