About The Position

The City of Moorhead is accepting applications for temporary seasonal full-time positions working in the Sanitation division of the Public Works Department. Compost Attendant ($19.00-$21.00) Tuesday – Saturday 8am – 4:30pm from April - November, half days on Saturdays. Operate and maintain various pieces of heavy equipment including front loader, skid steer, trommel, compost turner, and air burner. Process and direct costumers dropping off or picking up compost material. Ability to work safely and perform some manual labor. Must be age 18 or older. Sanitation Laborer ($17.50-$19.50) Help keep our community clean! Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm, days, occasional weekend as needed. Flexible with days, if want to work less hours. Positions goes to approximately November. This is a great position if you like the outdoors. Assist City crews with curbside yard waste collections and help keep our community clean. No experience necessary, training provided. Must be 16 years of age or older and be able to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally more. Temporary Truck Driver-Sanitation ($20.50-$22.50) Performs heavy manual labor to collect yard waste on residential routes. Must be at least 18 years old and have a Class B license. Hours: Work Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm. Spring through fall. Flexible. Requirements

Must be age 18 or older (Compost Attendant)
Must be 16 years of age or older (Sanitation Laborer)
Must be able to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally more (Sanitation Laborer)
Must be at least 18 years old and have a Class B license (Temporary Truck Driver-Sanitation)
