About The Position

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Haltom City, Texas, TRP Construction Group is a leading provider of safety-critical and highly regulated roadway marking and traffic control solutions primarily to state and local government end-customers, whom it serves either directly or through general contractors. TRP’s core offering focuses on recurring maintenance projects to maintain the safety of America’s roadways. The Company has operations in Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Arkansas. TRP Construction Group, LLC is currently seeking full-time Pavement Markings Laborer to perform operations in the Asheville, NC area. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance to ensure the safety of the traveling public.

Requirements

Be trained and able to operate and maintain at least 6 different pieces of equipment.
Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Maintain company standards for background checks (criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing).
Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology.
Ability to use smart phone and applications.
Ability to adjust to changing work schedule.

Nice To Haves

A CDL license is preferred.
Be able to operate the following Vehicles/Equipment: hand machines, forklift, hand grinder, 3M hand-tape machine, 3M adhesive applicator and hand-roller tamper cart.
Be able to Install Preformed Thermo/ Hot Tape.

Responsibilities

Fill out equipment and vehicle repair reports.
Ensure all work is done and completed in compliance with DOT and quality guidelines.
Ensure vehicles are in working order (spray systems and/or other truck mounted equipment) and properly loaded each and every day.
Keep vehicles clean and neat inside and out.
Fill out pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms properly.
Maximize production on job.
Carry out simple arithmetic functions.
Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job.
Follow all Safety Policies and Procedures.
