About The Position
The Laborer – Painting Crew assists in maintaining, repairing and refinishing interiors and exteriors of buildings and other structures; also performs drywall-patching work. Assists Painters, Carpenters and other skilled laborers with various construction and/or repair projects. May drive a motorized vehicle to travel to different locations. Performs tasks that will require walking, bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, climbing, reaching and sitting. Performs heavy lifting tasks up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- No formal education required
- Basic knowledge of painting tools and materials
- Basic knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions pertaining to painting and construction projects
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
