About The Position

LABORER - Seasonal Bathroom Facilities Maintenance $20.46/Hour Anticipated to start on the week of March 23rd Are you looking for an evening job during the week? If so, the Tooele City Parks Division has an opportunity for you! This position works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to approximately 11:00 p.m . During this shift, you will clean and secure park restrooms for the evening, ensuring facilities are properly maintained and locked at closing time. Example of duties: Lock public restrooms in our parks in the evenings. Cleans toilets, and urinals in restrooms. Refills soap/paper towels/toilet paper in restrooms. Sweeps and mops floors; hoses down as needed. Empties trash cans and replaces trash bags. Cleans walls, door handles, mirrors, and other structural elements. Handles needles and other infected materials with caution, care, and using appropriate personal protective equipment. Conducts deep cleaning as needed. This position requires working in an outdoor environment with exposure to bodily fluids, fecal matter, trash, and environments that others may find unpleasant due to smell or sight. You will work with hand held cleaning equipment and power equipment such as power washer to complete work tasks. Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Utah Driver's License for at least 12 months (not including time with learner's permit) and a driver record acceptable to Tooele City's risk management and insurance standards. We are seeking a responsible, self starter to who has the ability to communicate with the public in a positive way. Prior custodial experience is a plus.
