About The Position

Seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to support senior lab personnel with ASTM testing and sample handling. This role includes assisting with sample preparation, organizing and transporting samples throughout the lab, and learning standard testing procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Entry-level (0 years experience required)
• Basic knowledge of hand tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Stand or sit for extended periods
• Organize samples on carts and in cold storage
• Climb ladders to retrieve samples
• Work with fuel samples and chemicals
• Lift up to 50 lbs , including 5-gallon containers
• Steel-toe safety shoes required
• Dress Code: Lab Professional

Responsibilities

• Assist with performing ASTM tests
• Procure, transport, and organize samples for testing
• Return samples to login area or other lab locations
• Use basic hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers
• Follow written and verbal instructions from senior lab personnel
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
