Responsible for the basic chemical and/or physical analysis of raw materials and finished products. Prepares standard solutions and keeps control of the results, materials and reagents. Records results and reports findings to production, quality control, and other departments as necessary. Typically has 0-2 years of experience and works under close supervision.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Typically has 0-2 years of experience and works under close supervision.
• Experience recording data and maintaining a laboratory notebook
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus
• Experience in a laboratory or pilot plant environment is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience working with production or process equipment
• Familiarity with plumbing and/or electrical systems

Responsibilities

• Perform filter and filter media testing according to existing SOPs and scientific standards as scheduled by the Testing Lab leadership
• Keep accurate records of raw test data results, observations, and any unexpected deviations from the trial protocol.
• Perform simple maintenance on testing equipment and pilot equipment as necessary.
• Assist in ongoing build, maintenance, and improvement projects as per the direction of Research group engineers or the Research Manager.
• Enter and track test data in Excel and provide routine updates on build related projects to the assigned Engineer or Research Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
