About The Position

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing routine analytical testing and quality control procedures on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. This role supports production operations by ensuring compliance with internal specifications and regulatory standards. Laboratory Technicians work in a 24-hour rotating shift environment and may be assigned to specific labs such as the Kynar or Forane Laboratory. Who we are? Requirements

  • Minimum of four (4) semesters of college-level chemistry or related science field.
  • Ability to perform routine lab tests and operate standard lab equipment.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in a plant environment.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts and respond to call-ins as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine analyses using standardized laboratory methods.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and report deviations.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Perform environmental sampling and product testing as assigned.
  • Support production by providing timely analytical data.
  • Participate in ISO 9000 quality system compliance.
  • Assist in training and temporary coverage across lab areas as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE including long sleeve work shirts and ANSI-approved safety shoes and glasses.
