The work is conducted in a controlled laboratory environment, using guidance instructions, and under the guidance and support of Biochemist leads.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, with >1 year of experience working in a cGMP manufacturing laboratory, or a similar environment
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work individually and in a team setting
  • Must pass a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) background check
  • Ability to work weekends as part of routine schedule
  • This position includes the handling of biological and chemical components, including hazardous and DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) controlled materials

  • Associate or Bachelor degreed candidates preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execution of a broad range of instructions, of moderate complexity, during the manufacture of chemical and biological reagents
  • Accurate and neat recording of information
  • Use of Microsoft Office software (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment (e.g., pH and conductivity meters)
  • Lab duties as required (e.g., restocking and sanitizing workstations)
  • Use of SAP software for production transactions and inventory control
  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
  • Maintaining compliance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements
  • Demonstrating professionalism and inclusion in the workplace
  • Fostering a team environment
  • Perform technical processes and tasks independently with a solid level of proficiency
  • Positions in this area bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform formulation work. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as heavier weights with the proper equipment.
