Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate degree or technical certification in food science or related field is a plus
  • Experience in a food lab, production environment, or culinary setting is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow formulas and procedures accurately
  • Comfortable working with powders, seasonings, and food ingredients
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Compound, blend, and prepare seasoning prototypes, trials, and customer samples with accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain and organize laboratory inventory, including raw materials, packaging components, and lab supplies
  • Track stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to ensure uninterrupted workflow
  • Assist seasoning developers with bench work, sample preparation, and project support
  • Operate laboratory equipment safely and follow all quality and food safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant lab environment
  • Support data entry, sample labeling, and record keeping for formulations and trials
  • Participate in sensory evaluations and product testing as needed
