Laboratory technician, Embryology (Agriculture)
About The Position
We are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician in Madison, WI to fill a vacancy and join our Team. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, this role plays a key role in supporting Boviteq USA’s advanced reproductive technologies, including IVF, embryo production, and related laboratory processes. This position is responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory procedures with a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail. The technician ensures all work is completed in alignment with established protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

- Excellent problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of microscopes, pipetting and aseptic techniques is an advantage
- Previous agriculture experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Participate in the Embryo Production process
- Maturation, fertilization, and culture of bovine oocytes
- Freezing, grading, and packaging of embryos for shipment
- Comply with production SOPs, schedules and USDA export regulations
- Maintain and monitor materials, equipment and data entry
- Record keeping and care maintenance of equipment
